The Hokkaido Branch Research and Presentation Meeting of the Architectural Institute of Japan was held at the Sapporo City University. 7 members from our laboratory gave presentations.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Arthur, a student from Switzerland!

　We dismantled the large-scale brace experiment (Chevron Brace Frame) conducted in December 2024! Thank you to everyone, including Lilliann and Roosevelt, who were in charge of the project!

IABSE (International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering) conference was held in Tokyo. From our laboratory, Mr. Fujikawa, a second-year master’s student, and Professor Okazaki gave presentations.
Mr. Fujikawa dedicated a lot of time to practicing his presentation in English. Great job, and thank you for your hard work!!

We held a welcome party for our lab!! We are excited to welcome new members: fourth-year undergraduate students Ogashiwa-san, Nakayama-kun, Fukui-san, Matsuda-kun, Mukai-kun, and international student Massimo-san. Let’s work hard together from now on!

We had a safety lecture in the laboratory. We learned the basic principles for working safely in the lab, such as wearing protective clothing, safety shoes, leather gloves, and helmets. We also received practical training on how to use tools like drills and grinders.
