We had end year party on 16th December. Massimo leave Japan for going back to his country on 18th. And three of our members also leave Japan for experiment in Taiwan. We experienced a lot of things and had this year too. Thank you all! We are thankful for our friendship.
The cyclic stub column test has been completed. Despite various difficulties, we worked together and carried out the preparations successfully. Thank you to Mr.Mukai and Massimo for all your hard work!
All lab members worked together on lab tasks today! We attached Teflon and drilled holes in steel materials. We’ll all work together and do our best for the experiment!!
We participated in the “Field Study” hosted by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation.
We heard interasting talks about sword smiths and steel mills.

We are all doing our best in preparation for the upcoming large-scale brace experiment.
We had Stub Column test and preparation for steel-to-steel adhesive experiment.
We’re having enjoyable days in the lab! Everyone is busy, but let’s keep doing our best!!
Special Lecture: “Long-Span Bridges”
A special lecture was delivered by Dr. Satoshi Kashima. We had the opportunity to hear about his diverse experiences, including studying abroad, conducting research overseas, and his involvement in the construction of long-span bridges.

Ivar has come to join us as an exchange student from Stockholm, Sweden. We’re looking forward to working with him!
