This is an update on the ongoing preparations for the shaking table test in Taiwan! Everyone has been working through the year-end and New Year holidays, and I truly appreciate all the hard work by the members. I know it is challenging, but please keep up the great effort!!

We conducted steel-to-steel adhesive tests. Great work, Fukui!

Just over a month to go! We’ll give it our all 💪

We had end year party on 16th December. Massimo leave Japan for going back to his country on 18th. And three of our members also leave Japan for experiment in Taiwan. We experienced a lot of things and had this year too. Thank you all! We are thankful for our friendship.

The cyclic stub column test has been completed. Despite various difficulties, we worked together and carried out the preparations successfully. Thank you to Mr.Mukai and Massimo for all your hard work!

All lab members worked together on lab tasks today!　We attached Teflon and drilled holes in steel materials. We’ll all work together and do our best for the experiment!!

We participated in the “Field Study” hosted by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation.

We heard interasting talks about sword smiths and steel mills.
