Strain aging test was completed!

The large-scale experiment to verify strain aging, for which Ms. Nakagawa of M2 was primarily responsible, was completed, and the test specimens were removed after loading.
It was a spectacular sight to see the 14 specimens lined up in a matrix. We would like to thank Ms. Nakagawa, who was in charge of this project, for her hard work.

Thank you Dias!

Mr. Dias, a doctoral student in our laboratory, recently graduated from our laboratory, and I am sure that his successor will be able to take over his work.
He was also very active in activities other than research, and was an encouraging presence not only for international students but also for Japanese students. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors and look forward to seeing him again somewhere in the world!

2022/03/24 Graduation Ceremony

Three days ago (2022/03/24), the graduation ceremony was held for the first time in three years.

I also got a diploma. It was a school life that changed greatly because of covid-19, but thanks to the help of the teachers, I was able to spend fulfilling days. Thank you very much.
I especially enjoyed helping with the experiment. (Because there is no physical strength, I will be sleepy immediately after that …)
We have added the state of the graduation ceremony to Record, such as group photos, so please take a look.

Test Conducted 2022/03/16

It is getting warmer like spring.

We are conducting experiments energetically! Today, we were able to succeed in the experiment on strain aging while improving the stiffening device. Ms. Nakagawa and Ms. Arai, thank you very much for your hard work.
