We conducted operation!
We’re gearing up for a new experiment!
2022.06.13 Test was conducted about strain aging
Thank you Dias!
Mr. Dias, a doctoral student in our laboratory, recently graduated from our laboratory, and I am sure that his successor will be able to take over his work.
He was also very active in activities other than research, and was an encouraging presence not only for international students but also for Japanese students. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors and look forward to seeing him again somewhere in the world!
2022.05.12 2nd Safety Traning
Continuing from last month, we held a safety training session. This time, participants learned about crane operations used to transport heavy objects and how to use safety belts when working at heights.

2022/03/24 Graduation Ceremony
Three days ago (2022/03/24), the graduation ceremony was held for the first time in three years.
I also got a diploma. It was a school life that changed greatly because of covid-19, but thanks to the help of the teachers, I was able to spend fulfilling days. Thank you very much.
I especially enjoyed helping with the experiment. (Because there is no physical strength, I will be sleepy immediately after that …)
We have added the state of the graduation ceremony to Record, such as group photos, so please take a look.

Test Conducted 2022/03/16
It is getting warmer like spring.
We are conducting experiments energetically! Today, we were able to succeed in the experiment on strain aging while improving the stiffening device. Ms. Nakagawa and Ms. Arai, thank you very much for your hard work.
Mr. Asari has left Hokkaido University
Mr. Asari, who has been an assistant professor in the Laboratory of Structural Engineering, will be transferred to Maebashi Institute of Technology from next fiscal year. All the students are truly grateful.
