Cyclic loading tests were conducted on the column-beam component!
The bracing tests, which had been conducted since April, have been completed and a total of nine specimens were loaded.
Cyclic loading test on the subassemblage of 2021 Tsukuba shake-table test was held.
The Hokkaido Branch Research and Presentation Meeting of the Architectural Institute of Japan was held at the Muroran Institute of Technology.
Nine members from our laboratory gave presentations, and Mr. Qie received the Excellent Presentation Encouragement Award!
Static cyclic test on T-FLCs was held by Qie and Martin.
Brace test has been conducted since April.
Four specimen have been tested and are now at the turnaround point.
The experimental environment of the large laboratory is being prepared. This time, frames were assembled.
The construction is now open to the public, so please take a look!
Graduation Ceremony was held in March 23rd.
Mr. Abe and Ms. Arai, first-year master’s students, received the Best Presentation Award for Young Researchers in the Structural Section (Steel Structure) of the 2022 Annual Conference of the Architectural Institute of Japan (Hokkaido).
Ms. Nakagawa, a second-year master’s student, was awarded the Best Presentation Award for the Academy Session of the Steel Structure Symposium in 2022.
Master’s thesis presentations were held. In a face-to-face format, three second-year master’s students gave their presentations.
